Family Engagement Policy & Title I

Title I and Family Engagement Policy at Rio Vista Elementary School

At Rio Vista Elementary School, we are committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for our students and their families. As a Title I school, we receive federal funding to enhance the educational opportunities for all students, especially those from low-income families, ensuring they meet state academic standards.

An essential part of our Title I program is our Family Engagement Policy. We believe that family involvement is crucial to student success. Our policy outlines how we engage with parents and families to support their children's education, including regular communication, involvement in planning and decision-making, and providing resources and training for parents.

Below, you will find the documents that represent Rio Vista Elementary School's Family Engagement Policy and our Home/School Compact, which details the shared responsibilities of the school, parents, and students in striving for academic excellence.

We are always looking for new ways to engage our families and update our Family Engagement Policy. Please email suggestions to RVESOffice@psusd.us.
