About Me

Hello everyone! My name is Gavin Sadow and I am the School Counselor at Rio Vista  Elementary School. I have been involved in education since 1995, and counseling since 2002. I received my Masters in Education and my Masters in Family Therapy from CSLA. I worked in the Los Angeles School District from 1997 until 2018 as both an elementary teacher and middle school counselor. I have worked here in Palm Springs Unified since August 2018, and began working at Rio Vista as the school counselor in August 2019. I am looking forward to providing support to our students and their families. I am excited that I get to support students in achieving their academic success as well as improve their career and social/emotional development. I am excited to meet all the students and families here at Rio Vista Elementary School.
